Meet our 2018 Judges!

Chef Dadisi Olutosin is executive chef of the Executive Diner & Cafe, a new restaurant in Old Town, opening in early-mid April located at 1400 Duke Street. His resume includes cooking at such restaurants as Sequoia and Park View Patio, and cooking internationally in the UK, Nigeria, and Haiti. He’s a proud alum of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He describes the cuisine at the Executive Diner as Southern-inspired American comfort food.  His goal as an executive chef is “To fill bellies and put smiles on everyone’s faces.”

VikramChef Vikram Sunderam is the Executive Chef of Raskia and Rasika West End located in Washington, D.C. In 2014, he won Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic from the James Beard Foundation. He has also been a “Chef of the Year” candidate of the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. His new project is the restaurant Bindaas, opened in August 2016, which focuses on Indian street food.

David DiQuollo co-owns Alexandria-based Seal Engineering, Inc., an engineering firm specializing in building exteriors. A life-long passion for cooking has driven him to seek opportunities to learn from accomplished chefs in the area. He organized and helped run a cooking club that included retired chefs and enthusiastic home cooks. More recently he volunteered as kitchen help for several charity dinners featuring prominent area chefs, and assisted in regional and national team cooking competitions. He and his wife also enjoy introducing their 5-year-old son to the diverse cuisines available at local restaurants.
