Rapid Re-Housing
At Carpenter’s Shelter we have always believed that homelessness should be rare, brief, and non-recurring.
Through our Rapid Re-Housing Program, our case management team focuses on finding permanent housing solutions for eligible individuals within 30-60 days of admission into the shelter. These individuals receive support via housing location and selection, monetary assistance for deposits and rent payments, and continued individual case management support within the community.
Through our community involvement and outreach, Carpenter’s Shelter aims to create lasting partnerships with local property owners and area apartment leasing professionals to help our clients obtain and maintain leases in their own names as a method to promote independence, build good credit and rental history, and learn the basics of caring for a home of their own.

Our Housing Locators work with clients and Landlord Partners on an ongoing basis to proactively prevent tenancy issues. Our team maintains an open line of communication, readily offering problem-solving support if needed. Our goal is for our clients and their families to maintain their housing.
