Red Carpet Movie Premiere

Carpenter’s Shelter presents the Red Carpet Premiere of Same Kind of Different as Me starring Greg Kinnear, Renee Zellweger, Djimon Hounsou and Jon Voight! Join us on Wednesday, October 18th for this one-of-a-kind event and watch a story of love, hope and second chances unfold. Watch the movie trailer here.
Carpenter’s Shelter will offer two showings of this film that is based on true events and the New York Times best selling novel. Below are the details for each showing:
Friend of the Shelter Showing- $25 ticket includes a 6:00pm movie showing, popcorn, beverage and free parking.
VIP Red Carpet Premiere Showing– $75 ticket includes a 7:30pm movie showing, catering, alcoholic beverages and free parking.

The proceeds from your ticket purchase give our residents the support and tools they need to move from homelessness to housed. Your VIP Red Carpet Premiere ticket will have an immediate impact by providing our residents two months of materials for job coaching and mentorship. When you purchase a Friend of the Shelter ticket, you provide children in the shelter with one day of milk and healthy after school snacks.
